I hope you are doing well.

I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, and after all this time I felt I needed to reach out and let you know how much your support truly meant to me and my family.

It has been four years now since one of the hardest periods of my life. When Hunter and Dakota were taken from me and we were completely broken. That time is something I will never forget. Your guidance and support made reunification possible for us and all your support is something that will stay with me forever.

You stood by me, guided me, and believed in me. You didn’t just support me through a process, you gave me hope when I had none.

Because of you, I was able to fight for my children. Because of you, I get to wake up every day with Hunter and Dakota by my side.

We are doing well. We are together. Still working with a lot of services and have many supports in place. Our home is full of love and stability.

I don’t think you will ever truly know the impact you’ve had on our lives. You didn’t just help reunite a family, you changed the entire course of our story.

The moments I get with my children now, the laughter, the normal days, even the hard days… they are all possible because of you.

I will carry that gratitude with me for the rest of my life.
