Tracey has worked for many years in the area of human services in various capacities. These areas include Residential Care Work, Social Work in Child Protection, Family Resolution Dispute Practitioner, Reunification, Kinship Care Stabilisation and Support, and as a Family Counsellor working with parents and caregivers who have substance misuse in their lives.
Tracey has an Associate Diploma in Community Work, Bachelor of Counselling, Leader Mediation qualification, and an Associate Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs. Tracey has a strong commitment to working with people with respect and strives to work collaboratively with families, with understanding and kindness.
Tracey joined Connecting Families as an associate in 2018. Tracey is passionate about working with families to build their coping capacities in life, and in particular to improve the connection and relationship between children and their parents and caregivers, using a range of therapeutic models.
