TRACEY LADHAMS |  COUNSELLOR

Tracey has worked for many years in the area of human services in various capacities. These areas included Residential Care Work, Social Work in Child Protection, Family Resolution Dispute Practitioner, and Kinship Care and as a Family Counsellor working with parents/ caregivers who have substance misuse in their lives.

 

Tracey has an Associate Diploma in Community Work, Bachelor of Counselling, Leader Mediation qualification and an Associate Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs. Tracey has a strong commitment to working with people with respect and strives to work collaboratively with families, focusing on working with families to build on their coping capacities in life, treating others with respect, understanding and kindness.

 

Tracey joined Connecting Families in late 2018 having had many years of working in the area of human services. Tracey has worked in a variety of capacities, which have included Residential Care Work, Social Work in Child Protection, Family Resolution Dispute Practitioner, Relative and Kinship Care, and as a Family Counsellor working with parents/ caregivers who have substance misuse in their lives. Tracey is passionate about working with families to build on their coping capacities and in particular to improve the connection and relationship between children and their caregivers using a collective range of therapeutic models.
